Abraham Lincoln University (ALU) has a comprehensive quality assurance (QA) unit committed to maintaining the highest standards across its operations. The unit is led by a Quality Assurance Manager, who is supported by Quality Assurance Officer, Quality Assurance Assistant, and additional personnel across the university’s campuses. The university’s quality assurance practices are guided by the National Council for Higher Education’s Quality Assurance Handbook, the International University Council’s Quality Assurance Handbook, and other international academic standards.

How Quality Assurance is Emphasized at ALU

The university follows a quality assurance handbook and policy that governs QA procedures across university activities, including:

  1. The quality of teaching and learning. (pedagogical skills for all lecturers without a teaching background)
  2. External examiners.
  3. Student evaluation forms.
  4. Curriculum review.
  5. Regular audits and self-assessment across all schools.
  6. Ongoing training for all staff categories.
  7. Active participation of the student guild in QA.
